Positive: Friendly host, she visited to say hi shortly after we arrived; we had clear instructions how to enter with the key from the lock box; the place is nice and clean; we got a small welcome present for our stay during the christmas holidays (thank you); kitchen has all we needed to make our own breakfasts and diners; we hiked to a beautiful town, Monteviasco from Piero, and enjoyed a great lunch at restaurant il vecchio circolo (they served delicious local food). The apartment has a large balcony with great views over lago maggiore; although it was winter; we enjoyed a lunch in the nice afternoon sun and enjoyed the view after a day hiking the mountains.

Negative: Our stay was to short.
