Villa Carlo is an elegant ancient historical residence with an amazing sea view. It is the ideal accommodation to spend a relaxing holiday for a family or for a large group of friends; the Villa is situated in a very quiet location close to small village of Massa Lubrense land of the mythical Sirens of Ulysses, lemons, oil and breathtaking sunsets, Massa Lubrense is also the land of paths and boat trips.
Located in a strategic position in order to easily reach the nearby resorts of Sorrento, Pompei, Capri, Positano and Amalfi this picturesque small village offers a large selection of restaurants, pubs, bars and pizzerias; furthermore, in Massa Lubrense you find grocery shops, supermarkets, butchers, fishmongers as well as a bank and the post office.
Villa Carlo consists of a main body and a Saracen tower for a total of five bedrooms and bathrooms and can accommodate up to a maximum of 12 guests.
The main villa spreads on two levels; on the ground floor there is a large living room with comfortable sofas and a fire place, a master bedroom with its own private bathroom with sink, bidet, toilet a shower and a bathtub and another bedroom with two separate beds, a dressing room and a bathroom with shower; still on the ground floor there is and additional bedroom and a bathroom, here you can find also a washing machine and an iron with an ironing board.
Going up for the granite staircase you reach the first floor, here thanks to the large windows you have a beautiful view overlooking the garden and the lemon groove, here you find a large and bright living room with comfortable sofas and a satellite TV featuring Sky from the living room you have direct access to the terrace equipped with a marble dining table for 12 people, this terrace is connect alto to a kitchen which is fully equipped with all accessories and appliances such as a microwave oven, a fridge, freezer, a kettle, cutlery, plates, glasses, and everything you need to prepare tasty meals that can also be enjoyed outside on the panoramic terrace covered with a pergola. On the same floor there two more bedrooms: a master bedroom with satellite TV featuring Sky, this bedroom develops on two levels and it has a bathroom with bathtub, the other bedroom has two single beds, a dressing room and a bathroom with shower.
From the large terrace going up few steps you reach the roof top terrace equipped with sun chairs, tables, armchairs and sofas; the terrace featured a mini heated Jacuzzi pool where you can relax while sip an aperitif enjoying the breathtaking sea view.
The other unit is a sixteenth century Saracen tower completely restored maintaining the original architectural style and it develops on two floors: on the ground floor there is large bedroom with a comfortable sofa bed, a television and a bathroom with shower; the first floor has a large bedroom with a double bed and a French bed, a bathroom with shower, sink, toilent and hairdryer, from the bedroom you have an amazing view of the entire Sorrento Coast. The roof top terrace is well accessorized with outdoor sofas and armchairs where you can relax after a long day touring.
The whole property has wi-fi, air conditioning and heating.
The property has a very large patio where can enjoy “ al fresco “ meal and is surrounded by a well-kept garden with outdoor furniture such as tables, chairs and deck chairs, there is also a wood-burning oven to enjoy pizzas or to set a BBQ. The swimming pool is for the exclusive use of customers only.
Villa Carlo is located very close to the beach (just over a mile). Sorrento is only 10 minutes driving away with its choice of restaurants and wine bars; the main streets full of elegant boutiques leads to the old town center doubtless the most picturesque district of the town. In Sorrento furthermore, you can find the train station, the bus terminal and the port from where you can easily reach the nearby resorts of Pompeii and Herculaneum on the Bay of Naples otherwise Positano, Amalfi and Ravello on the Amalfi Coast that we fairly recommend to visit booking a private car with an English-speaking driver who will show you the entire coast on a full day excursion.
